Young Woman's Wellness Class
Young Woman's Wellness Class
Your daughter’s period shouldn’t feel like a mystery, or some big scary event.
For a lot of us, the conversation happened once, if it happened at all. A pamphlet in health class. A rushed talk in the car. A whole lot of figuring it out alone. Our daughters deserve more than that.
Join Andrea Corliss, MSN, WHNP-BC, for an hour built for young women ages 11 to 17 and the parent or guardian who loves them. Together you'll get honest answers about what's happening in a growing body, why it's happening, and how to walk into it prepared instead of caught off guard.
This isn't a lecture. It's a warm, judgment-free space where questions are welcome, nothing is embarrassing, and every girl leaves feeling more at home in her own body.
What You'll Learn:
- What actually happens during a menstrual cycle, and why it matters far beyond period week
- How to track a cycle and recognize what's normal for her
- Practical ways to manage cramps, mood shifts, and low energy
- How to build a period kit so she's ready anywhere: school, sports, sleepovers, travel
- The signs that are worth bringing to a provider
- How parents can keep this conversation open for years instead of having it once
Every registrant takes home a goodie bag with the essentials to get started.
October 8th. The first class is free, and space is limited to 20 registrants.
Bring your daughter. Bring your questions. Leave with confidence.
